Moments are singular. Polaroids capture the sentiment well— a single polaroid is printed for a single moment. But polaroids are also infinite. For they create memories that can be revisited an endless amount of time, bringing the individual an endless amount of reflection, happiness, and learning.
Throughout my explorations of various skills and mediums, I wanted to explore the meaning of a memory, using polaroids.
Memories are so, so precious. How could I bring this vision to light?
Modeled first from scratch in Fusion360, with basic materials applied.
Here, I wanted to create a realistic environment where these polaroids and memories might exist.
Memories are almost never at the forefront of our minds; of our lives. We are focused on the present, as we should be. However, they are always there, lying on the table, just in case we want, or need, to revisit them.
